Each product on our website clearly indicates its suitability for its hair porosity (low, medium, or high) and hair thickness (fine, medium, or thick). This gives you immediate insight into which products are best suited to your hair type.

However, using hair products remains partly a matter of trial and error. Even with the same porosity and hair thickness, curls can react differently due to factors like styling technique, water quality, or weather conditions. So, you may need to do some testing and tweaking before you find your ideal routine.

Yes, our products are definitely also suitable for kids, gray hair and permed hair.

The 200 ml bottles contain approximately 132 full pumps. If you use 4 full pumps per week, you should be able to use them for 33 weeks.

Our products are a bit more expensive because we consciously choose quality and ease of use . Instead of cheap tubes, bottles, or jars, we use luxury airless bottles . These are 15–20 times more expensive, but offer major advantages for you and your curls:

  • Hygienic: no air or bacteria enter the bottle, as happens with jars.
  • No waste: you pump the bottle completely empty, so you use everything. No residue you can't remove.
  • Longer shelf life: your product stays fresh and effective for longer.
  • Less irritation: we tested different packaging options, and airless proved to be the most skin- and user-friendly.

What's more, we only use high-quality, concentrated, CG-approved, and vegan ingredients —no cheap fillers. As a result, you need less and our products often last longer.

In short: you may pay a little more, but you get top quality, hygiene and sustainable luxury in return.

We're often asked if our products contain microplastics . And you may have seen our ingredients listed with a red flag in the Beat the Microbead app. That can be confusing, so we're happy to explain.

🔹 According to European law, substances like PVP or VP/VA copolymer do not fall under the definition of microplastics. They are water-soluble and not hard plastic beads (microbeads) that remain in nature. They are simply washed out of your hair with a mild, CG-safe shampoo.

🔹 According to NGOs like Beat the Microbead, these ingredients are considered "liquid plastics." This is because they are synthetic polymers that don't fully biodegrade. There is n't enough research yet to determine their precise long-term environmental impact.

🔹 So why do we use them? Because there 's currently no natural alternative that offers the same strong hold, definition, and frizz control . And those are precisely the qualities that curls benefit from. Without these ingredients, curls would quickly fall out, become frizzy, or feel heavy.
