How to use the Styling Gel
- Apply to wet to damp hair , after or instead of our styling cream
- Scrunch well with your hands, if necessary apply in layers for thick hair
- OPTION: For extra hold , reapply the gel with praying hands after removing excess moisture with the microfiber towel, or when your curls are 50% dry.
- Let it air dry or use a diffuser for more definition.
- Reactivates when you moisten your hair with wet hands or a spray bottle
- Mix with our Protein Drops if your curls are too soft or fall out too quickly

Does the Styling Gel contain protein?
No, this gel doesn't contain any protein. If your curls need protein, mix a few drops of our Protein Drops into the gel, and you'll instantly have a protein-rich gel!

Can I use this gel without leave-in?
Yes, this gel contains nourishment, so additional leave-in is not necessary, but this may vary depending on hair type.

Does the Styling Gel give hard or soft curls?
This gel doesn't leave a hard or sticky finish . As it dries, it forms a light cast (a protective layer) that you can easily comb out for soft, defined, and bouncy curls .

Is the gel suitable for wavy hair?
Yes, absolutely. The formula is light enough for wavy hair looking for more definition without weighing it down . Use a small amount and work it into towel-dried hair or wet hair with a little leave-in underneath, if desired.

Should I combine the Styling Gel with other products?
You can, but it's not necessary. The gel works perfectly over the All-in-One Styling Cream or a light leave-in. For added shine and frizz control, you can finish with the Super Sealing Oil on wet hair.

How much product do I need?
That depends on your hair type and thickness. Start with a small amount per section and build up as needed. Less is more , especially for finer or low-porosity hair.

Yes! This gel has a strong hold and is specially formulated to keep your curls in place for long periods of time, even in high humidity or frizz-prone conditions . Thanks to ingredients like PVP and Polyquaternium-37 , the gel forms a strong, hold-resistant layer that seals out moisture and minimizes frizz without weighing your curls down.

Absolutely! Mix a small amount with water in your hands or in a spray bottle and work it into your dry or slightly damp curls for a quick refresh .

Oh, how many gels we tried back when we still had our curly girl webshop. And what a nightmare sometimes... Gels that left your curls feeling like you'd spent a week in the desert, gels without any nourishment that turned your locks into a rock-like helmet, or those gels where you could use a whole tube without anything happening except a sticky, icky feeling. And then there were the gels that promised everything but delivered nothing.
What we were especially missing? Nourishment in those gels. So we decided to create our own styling gel that not only provides a natural look and firm hold, but also nourishes your curls. And yes, we also wanted shine, because who doesn't want shiny curls? Ultimately, this gel helps enhance your curl definition without making your hairstyle feel like a construction project.
We think we've come pretty close to perfection with this gel... but judge for yourself!
