Who is it suitable for?

Porosity

High porosity hair: Absolutely suitable – this sealing oil effectively helps to retain moisture, even in extreme humidity or dry air.
Medium porosity hair: Yes – supports long-lasting shine and helps control frizz.
Low porosity hair: Use only a small amount (1–2 drops is enough) to prevent buildup.

Hair thickness

Fine hair: Yes – thanks to the light texture of Meadowfoam Oil, hair stays light. However, use sparingly, especially with low hair density.
Normal hair: Yes – provides the perfect balance between care and a light finish.
Thick hair: Yes – provides softness, protection and an effective moisture barrier.

Usage

Use it as the last step in your LOC or LCO routine, right after your leave-in or styling cream. You can also apply it to wet hair before or after your gel. Extra dry hair? Use the oil as the very last sealing step.

Instructions for use:

– Take 2 to 4 drops (depending on hair type/length)

– Rub between your palms

– Divide with thepraying hands-technique on wet hair, especially in the lengths and outer layers

Tips

Versatile in use – your secret weapon for healthy curls

The Super Sealing Oil is more than a styling product. Thanks to its nourishing and protective properties, Meadowfoam Oil is this oil multifunctional:

1. Pre-wash treatment (Hot Oil)

Nourish your hair intensely before washing:
Heat a little oil (not hot)
Massage into your scalp and work through to the ends
Leave it on for 30 minutes to overnight.
Then wash thoroughly with shampoo

2. Scrunch Out the Crunch (on dry hair)

Break the gel cast for soft, shiny curls
Take a few drops of oil (possibly mixed with water for fine hair)
Rub between your hands and scrunch gently until the cast disappears

3. Refresh curls (daily use)

Bring back shine and hydration on day 2 or 3:
Lightly dampen the hair with a spray bottle
Apply a few drops of oil to your hands
Distribute over the ends or dry parts
Style with your fingers or a wide-toothed comb
Also suitable for dry hair: mix with water and smooth over frizz

The story behind:

This time, it was purely out of self-interest that I decided to develop the Super Sealing Oil. If you could categorize high-porosity hair, I'd definitely be at the top of the heap—not exactly where you want to be when it comes to moisture balance!

My hair was losing moisture faster than I could lose my keys, and believe me, that's saying something. In every conceivable situation, whether I was sleeping, walking in the rain, or just sitting at home on a humid day, my curls gave up. I'd had enough of my hair's perpetual thirst.

So what do you do? You could, of course, grab an oil from another brand that claims to be "sealing"... or you could roll up your sleeves and make your own! I chose the latter. We had a new lab technician who apparently understood my hair frustrations, and together we came up with a formula with special ingredients, including the majesticMeadowfoam Seed Oil, mixed with two other wildly popular oils.

What started as a personal mission led to the creation of a Super Sealing Oil that not only does what it's supposed to do but is also packed with extra benefits.
